SNC-Lavalin has an exciting career opportunity in Egypt for instrumentation engineers with 7 years of experience. Candidates shall have solid experieicne in design and design review for water process and other types of buildings.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Core Responsibilities<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\n
• Handling the design of instrumentation, control and automation systems design architecture for different types of processes and projects.<\/li>\n
• Proven experience in different types of projects; industrial, water and wastewater pumping station, DCP, office, residential, hotels,\u2026etc.<\/li>\n
• Preparation of BMS\/SCADA systems risers and layout drawings.<\/li>\n
• Preparation of P&ID drawings.<\/li>\n
• Sound understanding of different electrical and mechanical equipment automation requirements.<\/li>\n
• Preparation of system specifications for BMS and SCADA systems.<\/li>\n
• Familiar with the local country codes of middle east and gulf countries.<\/li>\n
• Coordination of control and instrumentation works with other disciplines.<\/li>\n
• Communicate efficiently with different stakeholders of the project.<\/li>\n
• Experience in working with Revit, BIM 360, Navisworks, and other BIM tools is a must.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Core Requirements<\/p>\n

  • 7+ years of proven experience in handling intermediate and mega projects in the middle east region within consultancy firm.<\/li>\n
  • Bachelor\u2019s degree in mechanical \/ electrical \/ mechatronics engineering from a reputable university.<\/li>\n
  • Able to independently deliver work and integrate with larger project team.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to work in multi-cultural multilingual environment.<\/li>\n
  • Responsible for completion of specifically assigned tasks to time and cost.<\/li>\n
  • Able to work as reliable and pro-active member of the team.<\/li>\n
  • Self-motivated.<\/li>\n
  • Exhibits energy and enthusiasm.<\/li>\n
  • Excellent command of English language. (Writing and speaking)<\/li>\n
  • Good communication, presentation and listening skills.<\/li>\n
  • Writing professional reports.<\/li>\n
  • Identifies and communicates concerns to immediate supervisor.<\/li>\n
  • Sense of team.<\/li>\n
  • Possess capability to take individual responsibilities.<\/li>\n
