This is a Contract position, based at the NEOM Green Hydrogen Elements (GHE) Project Site location, working an rotational assignment. The project is being executed by the AIR PRODUCTS NEOM Green Hydrogen Project (NGHP) \u2013 Green Hydrogen Elements (GHE) Project execution team and is expected to last approximately 48 months.<\/p>\n

The incumbent is responsible for the project EH&S training program incl. training needs analysis, the development and facilitation of EH&S inductions and trainings and to oversee the training plan implementation of Contractor Organization(s) to meet the intent of the project and AIR PRODUCTS EH&S systems. It is AIR PRODUCTS\u2019 objective to achieve highest standards and performance levels during the execution of all project related activities. The incumbent will work closely with the AIR PRODUCTS and Contractors\u2019 Construction & EH&S teams and report to the Senior EH&S Manager.<\/p>\n

The incumbent is expected to have detailed knowledge of EH&S requirements and best practices related to construction and pre-commissioning safety and extensive work experience in this area.<\/p>\n

• Description: Green Hydrogen Element of NEOM Green Hydrogen Project is a processing facility that will extract hydrogen from water with the use of wind and solar energy and ultimately produce green ammonia.<\/li>\n
• Project Location: NEOM Green Hydrogen, Northwest of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, near Duba town.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES<\/p>\n

    This position is accountable for the following end results:<\/p>\n

    1. Support the full implementation of the project EH&S Plan, Security Plan and Emergency Response Plan by assisting with training<\/li>\n
    2. Actively promote the development of a \u2018Total Safety Culture\u2019 and provide support during the implementation of all related (leadership) activities<\/li>\n
    3. Act as a coach, both for EH&S team members and for Contractors<\/li>\n
    4. Support the implementation of the GHE EH&S Plan<\/li>\n
    5. Conduct Training Needs Analysis to Identifying training gaps<\/li>\n
    6. Develop a Training Matrix for the Project that captures all EH&S, Construction and Commissioning requirements<\/li>\n
    7. Develop and continuously improve AIR PRODUCTS EH&S training programs<\/li>\n
    8. Facilitate AIR PRODUCTS EH&S trainings and induction programs incl. practical trainings, assessments, demonstrations and exercises<\/li>\n
    9. Develop a robust competence assurance progam that ensures personnel working in various construction and commissioning roles have specific competence needs identified and delivered in a timely manner<\/li>\n
    10. Review Contractor EH&S training competencies, material and plans<\/li>\n
    11. Oversee Contractor EH&S training plan implementation and initiate improvements as and when required<\/li>\n
    12. Coordinate a program of inspections and audits of Contractors\u2019 training efforts<\/li>\n
    13. Undertake third party audits on all external training providers to assess their capability<\/li>\n
    14. Ensuring EH&S information\/expertise is provided to the site team when solicited to ensure compliance to Air Products standards and local laws<\/li>\n
    15. Actively participating in and leading safety promotion events, campaigns, competitions, established programs<\/li>\n
    16. Providing leadership to ensure prompt prioritization and coordination of all unforeseen issues at the site, escalating to the AIR PRODUCTS EH&S Leads or Managers as required<\/li>\n
    17. Regularly attend Contractor TBT\u2019s and Pre-Task Safety Talks and provide input where applicable<\/li>\n
    18. Perform regular safety dialogues, EH&S inspections and formal PTW\/JSA reviews<\/li>\n
    19. Give input to ensure the accurate completion of the EH&S reports<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS<\/p>\n

        • Engineering \/ Science degree<\/li>\n
        • NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is a mandatory requirement<\/li>\n
        • Safety certificates in OSHA, IOSH or similar<\/li>\n
        • 8 years\u2019 experience on international mega-projects, 5 years in the field of EH&S trainings<\/li>\n
        • Fluent spoken and written English and Hindi<\/li>\n
        • Familiar with all aspects of Construction Safety and possessing specialist knowledge in one or two areas of Construction Safety (e.g., excavations, scaffolding, lifting, etc.)<\/li>\n
        • Being a good team player, good communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n
        • Physically fit and able to spend a large proportion of the day on site<\/li>\n
        • Ability to work in a multifaceted \/ multinational organizational matrix with a variety of working relationships<\/li>\n
        • Willingness to travel and be based in remote location<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
