SNC-Lavalin Egypt is looking for Infrastructure (Wet Utilities) Civil Design Engineer to join its team, to enable a great end-to-end customer experience.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Closely work with Infrasturcure (wet utilities) team to plan and deliver quality and integrated designs including but not limited to pressurized systems, gravity systems, hydrology studies, process engineering and BIM works.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Preparing fundamental engineering designs, calculations, reports, material quantity takeoffs, and estimates.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Participating in the preparation and issuance of specifications, data sheets, and other construction documents.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Will be accountable for the technical assurance of our inhouse, remote and outsourced services and design hubs, always ensuring maximuization the corporate value in all internal and external development and service management.<\/p>\n

Drive the ways of working in engineering processes, improving the quality of the technical solutions, and ensuring the delivery value as early as possible using a range of modern theories and techniques.<\/p>\n

Core Responsibilities<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

• Undertaking full design scope starting data collection and analysis for conceptual planning and detailed design, prepare design drawings and specifications and solve design problems as required throughout the design delivery process.<\/li>\n
• Ensuring that all drawings and calculations meet the required standards & quality.<\/li>\n
• Assist with preparation of technical specifications, BOQs, tendering and contract administration<\/li>\n
• Prioritizes work to meet project deliverables on time.<\/li>\n
• Coordinate with other design disciplines for quality delivery.<\/li>\n
• Ability to execute project tasks and work collaboratively with other project staff for on-budget\/on-schedule project execution.<\/li>\n
• Hold technical meetings with the respective authorities to secure their approval.<\/li>\n
• Assist the tendering team in reviewing tenderer\u2019s qualifications and fill the scoring sheets with recommendation for supporting his reporter\u2019s action.<\/li>\n
• Assist the execution Sectors in any technical related issues and able to recommend solutions on spot.<\/li>\n
• Proactively removing impediments to productivity and progress toward continuous deployment, encourage controlled innovation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  Core Requirements<\/p>\n

  • Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 8+years of experience in design of Infrastructure (wet utilities) and Plants .<\/li>\n
  • Master\u2019s degree is an advance<\/li>\n
  • 8+ years of experience working in a wet utilities<\/li>\n
  • Good spoken and written English is essential.<\/li>\n
  • Proven knowledge of the application process for obtaining approval from various stakeholders.<\/li>\n
  • Proven knowledge of the required scope, Egyptian and Middle East codes and standerds.<\/li>\n
  • Proven knowledge of Hydraulics and modelling software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
