Assisting with planning, conducting, and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in a timely, cost-effective function.<\/p>\n

Conducting field visits and supervising the follow-up of the executive programs of the work being implemented<\/p>\n

Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.<\/p>\n

Preparing reports on the quality level of the executed works and the percentages of implementation of the works being implemented<\/p>\n

Develop corrective actions, solutions and improvements.<\/p>\n

Providing solutions to problems that appear during implementation.<\/p>\n

Review the code, specifications and processes to follow and apply them.<\/p>\n

Analyze specifications and manuals and provide technical information to implement operating procedures, clarify ambiguities and solve problems.<\/p>\n

Specify system components to ensure conformance with engineering design and performance specifications.<\/p>\n

Respond to emergencies and take remedial action as required to ensure health, safety and the environment are protected.<\/p>\n

Assist senior management team in preparing sub contract agreements and in recruiting people of various disciplines.<\/p>\n

Undertake team briefings and inception activities to ensure all aspects of work are understood by all concerned parties.<\/p>\n

Attend regular meetings with clients, architects and consultants and update all parties on project progress.<\/p>\n

Organize pipeline activities of foundation, and welding works.<\/p>\n

Responsible for open-cut road crossing activities.<\/p>\n

Lead Horizontal Directional Drilling and Micro Tunneling activities \u2013 surveying, excavation, welding, coating and backfilling.<\/p>\n

Organize scaffolding activities involving materials, manpower and site erection.<\/p>\n

Organize steel structural activities of delivery, erection, and site modification.<\/p>\n

Organize above\/underground piping site activities including painting, wrapping, coating, fabrication, welding, erection.<\/p>\n

Responsible for all tie-in and shutdown activities of hot tapping and cold cutting.<\/p>\n

Prepare and conduct piping hydro testing works as per QC requirements.<\/p>\n

Prepare and manage erection and alignment of equipment (Static, Rotary).<\/p>\n

Review and coordinate works to provide instruction and guidance on technical issues in accordance with the project requirements.<\/p>\n

Provide technical reports and assist and preparing management reports.<\/p>\n

Checks all project drawings, documentation, calculations, technical evaluations and manpower estimates to ensure accuracy and completeness.<\/p>\n

Participate in regular meetings to identify problems, target dates, issues, delays execution of work to ensure timely project completion.<\/p>\n

Represent the organization and enhance relationships in dealings with client, consultants and regulatory authorities to ensure all agreements are implemented.<\/p>\n

Monitoring project expenditure and margin analysis against bid estimates and implement corrective actions when cost or schedule over-runs materialize.<\/p>\n

Meeting the deadlines & agreed targets to satisfy client.<\/p>\n

Prepare, develop and maintain up to date quality procedures, documents and method of statement given to client\/main contractor.<\/p>\n

Prepare PQR (Procedure Qualification for WPS), qualify welders and prepare welder qualifications and welders ID.<\/p>\n

Review of associated quality control documentation to ensure that equipment and materials are manufactured in accordance with applicable codes, client and project specifications and standards.<\/p>\n

Supervise field inspection activities of manufacturing site construction, welding, NDT examinations and pressure testing and prepare daily inspection reports.<\/p>\n

Identify quality problems or areas for improvement and recommend solutions.<\/p>\n

Weld consumable control, Final dimensional inspection.<\/p>\n

Maintain project material certification.<\/p>\n

Preparation of Weld & NDT Maps.<\/p>\n

Preparation of piping test packs
Job Requirements<\/p>\n

Bachelor's degree in Mechanics power Engineering.<\/p>\n

Experience not less than 5 years in the field of contracting as a mechanical quality control engineer.<\/p>\n

Project management certificate.<\/p>\n

TQM \u201cor equivalent\u201d is preferable.<\/p>\n

Computer skills: (AutoCAD \u2013 Autodesk inventor \u2013 SOLIDWORKS).<\/p>\n

Personal skills: (Presentation and communication skills).
