Description
The Teaching Professional will work closely with the General Manager to promote and conduct golf instruction and player development programs to meet the needs\/demands for all golfer segments in the local marketplace.
Qualifications, Knowledge and Skill Requirements:<\/p>\n
PGA or LPGA Member preferred<\/p>\n
Must be a dedicated golf instructor with minimum 1 years related experience in golf instruction and club-fitting techniques<\/p>\n
Must possess exceptional communication skills<\/p>\n
Highly polished interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with people easily and quickly<\/p>\n
Must be extremely organized, efficient and detail-oriented<\/p>\n
Must be highly motivated, goal driven and self-starter<\/p>\n
Knowledge of the local market is a plus
Responsibilities:<\/p>\n
Works closely with the General Manager to plan and develop instruction programs that appeal to all golfer segments in the surrounding market<\/p>\n
Provides golf instruction to private students and group participants as demand dictates and as needed<\/p>\n
Teaches summer camps as needed<\/p>\n
Provides training and development to other instructors as directed and as needed<\/p>\n
Assists in the Supervision and upkeep of the practice facilities to ensure that safe, clean, organized and professional conditions exist throughout<\/p>\n
Assists in keeping all teaching aids and instruction inventory in excellent condition<\/p>\n
Utilize state-of-the-art teaching and learning theories, and be able to integrate the use of training aids, video tape and club fitting into the facility\u2019s instructional programs when necessary<\/p>\n
Participate in administrative duties as directed and as needed to ensure smooth operation of the golf instruction program<\/p>\n
Perform some of the opening and closing duties of the instruction program as directed<\/p>\n
Represent the facility in the community and with local businesses through promotional activities and programs<\/p>\n
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager
