Responsibilities:<\/p>\n

\n
• Coordinates the work and record keeping of the materials testing laboratory on the project.<\/li>\n
• Sets up field laboratory and undertake its organization, maintenance and operation.<\/li>\n
• Supervises staff assistants in sampling and testing of materials.<\/li>\n
• Sampling, testing, record keeping and reporting in accordance with the ff: Client policy and procedures directives; Materials Testing Manual; AASHTO Standard Methods of Sampling and Testing; Construction Supervision Manual; Project Plans and Specifications; and Construction Supervision Directives.<\/li>\n
• Implements inspection, examination, and testing procedures and records inspection, examination, and testing data.<\/li>\n
• Plans inspections, evaluations, and tests; setting up tests, including preparation and set-up of related equipment<\/li>\n
• Evaluates the validity and acceptability of inspection, examination and testing results and reports inspection, examination and testing results.<\/li>\n
• Evaluates the adequacy of specific programs used to train and test inspection, examination, and testing personnel.<\/li>\n
• Performs and documents inspections of subcontractor work.<\/li>\n
• Oversees subcontractor inspections and review of subcontractor work. Reviews and audits subcontractor generated quality records.<\/li>\n
• Ensures compliance to HSE requirements applicable for their work scope.<\/li>\n
• May participate in establishing and implementing a Quality Controls Inspectors certification program.<\/li>\n
• Documents and communicates inspection results in a clear and concise manner.<\/li>\n
• Understands contract requirements and subcontractor(s) contract requirements.<\/li>\n

  Qualifications:<\/p>\n

  • Diploma in Engineering with minimum 7 years of related work experience.<\/li>\n
  • Work experience in Dubai and familiar with its rules and standards.<\/li>\n
  • Requires the ability to communicate clearly and interface effectively with a diverse group of professionals.<\/li>\n
  • Very good analytical skills and the ability to communicate to all levels of the company.<\/li>\n
  • Proficient in data collection, analysis and presentation.<\/li>\n
  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and\/or other software package needed to support the documentation and retention of quality records.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
