Description
Main tasks
Logistics Support
\u2022 Capture and revise all GLC invoices to prepare for posting.
\u2022 Record all incoming shipments
\u2022 Record and maintain all discrepancy records including the scrap
\u2022 Arrange and supervise the grief area \/ Accessories.
\u2022 Support in scrapping process and stock taking
\u2022 Periodically challenge the storage accuracy by manual or system perpetual counts
\u2022 Revise and supervise binning process.
\u2022 Document and implement any new process through ISO registration process.
Health & Safety Coordinator
\u2022 Implement location incident management in coordination with quality management
\u2022 Act as location health & Safety coordinator according to MPC\/GSP regulations
\u2022 Work closely with MPC and 3PL HSSE to follow up with all required health & safety regulations and Tasks
\u2022 Supervise any location work or needed regulation for safe handling of goods
Warehouse Operations
\u2022 Location Management handling
\u2022 Space Optimization and enhancing warehouse capacity
\u2022 Regularly checking on fast movers for quantity and location check
\u2022 Challenging 3PL for daily reported errors or wrong binning
\u2022 Work closely with GSP\/ODW for space optimization and warehouse design
\u2022 Adjust bin locations according to storage needs
\u2022 Implement bar-code scanners for inbound\/outbound operations
\u2022 Follow Daimler standards in bin locations definition
GLC Claiming
\u2022 Capture all claims to GLC and follow up with the feedback per claim
\u2022 Keep track of all over-delivery, under-delivery, wrong packaging, damaged, and missing packages.
\u2022 Report all cases through StarOrder Plus and follow up with the creditnotes
\u2022 Analysis of all credit notes to be added to the actual expenses by year-end
Environmental Management Coordinator
\u2022 Initially identify and continuously maintain local, market-specific conditions & standards incl. legislations as supplement to the given
GSP global standards Evironmental Topics.
\u2022 Continuously ensure implementation of all standards (global and
local) by involvement of respective specialists on Logistics Center
level.
\u2022 Coordinate usage of provided tools (e.g. checklists, databases, risk
matrix, etc.) in the Logistics Center to facilitate standard
implementation.
\u2022 Cover all aspects related to environmental management defined
within local laws and regulations and defined within ISO 14001 <\/p>\n

Training and qualification
\u2022 Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Mechanical Engineering\/Supply Chain is preferable. Business Administration\/Finance\/Commerce
Technical knowledge
\u2022 Knowledge of spare parts systems is optional
\u2022 Aware of standard supply chain and logistics functions
\u2022 Aware of various spare parts within a vehicle with general knowledge of usage
\u2022 Excellent knowledge of MS Office Applications (Excel-PowerPoint-Word)
