The Customs Brokerage Manager is responsible for the process and activities for managing the governmental compliance and processing of the import filings of goods into Kuwait.<\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

• Ensure execution of the Air Freight strategy in line with the Country Manager <\/li>\n
• Drive effective and future-oriented resource planning within AF in line with productivity targets <\/li>\n
• Manage the performance of the Air Freight team, coach and support the team leaders as necessary, drive change management in the Air Freight organization <\/li>\n
• Monitor performance against annually agreed Product KPI\u2019s and initiate corrective actions. <\/li>\n
• Ensure strict adherence to the DSV Air and Sea Code of Conduct <\/li>\n
• Actively manage the Branch Air Freight Product P&L by managing vendor cost and by ensuring profitability in the day-to-day operations <\/li>\n
• Drive actions to maximize profit on file level and to eliminate loss-making files <\/li>\n
• Overall responsibility for file maintenance; + profitability <\/li>\n
• Bring innovative ideas to the table to help drive the business forward <\/li>\n
• Ensure consistent achievement of operational standards to meet customer requirements <\/li>\n
• Optimize and implement operational standards & guidelines and drive continuous improvement of branch operations <\/li>\n
• Monitor operational performance (sub-contractors, productivity, quality of service, data, incident handling) and initiate, implement and control corrective actions; escalate when needed. <\/li>\n
• Evaluate and monitor operational risks, ensure contingency planning, and implement corrective actions <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  • Minimum 5 years of air freight experience <\/li>\n
  • Minimum 3 years of management experience <\/li>\n
