Job Description
The Sales Associate is responsible for serving customers on the shop floor and answering their needs in a timely manner in order to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and achieve optimum sales results.
Core Functional Activities:<\/p>\n

Greet customers, offer assistance and serve them in order to ensure their needs are answered in a timely manner and in compliance with quality and customer service standards<\/p>\n

Arrange and replenish on a continuous basis the shop shelves and ensure that the shop floor and shelves are kept clean and tidy at all times<\/p>\n

Watch for and prevent security risks and thefts and escalate occurring incidents to the hierarchy in a timely manner in order to avert loss<\/p>\n

Compute sales prices, total purchases and receive and process cash payments efficiently and courteously<\/p>\n

Perform physical and electronic inventory of shop products on a regular basis as per company's guidelines in order to ensure accurate stock keeping.<\/p>\n

Up-sell and cross-sell products in order to reach hourly and daily sales targets.<\/p>\n

Inform Assistant Store Manager of unavailable and nonperforming products.<\/p>\n

Merchandize products under the appropriate sections according to sales trends, date of release, and as per the Visual Merchandizer recommendations.<\/p>\n

Keen to have all the information in regard to product knowledge.<\/p>\n

Open and close cash registers, count money, separate charge slips, coupons and vouchers, balance cash drawers and make deposits in order to ensure cash control is maintained at all times.<\/p>\n

Ticket, arrange and display merchandise, under the direction of the Area Merchandiser in order to promote sales.

Actual Location of suitable merchandise.<\/p>\n

Shop floor stock availability & Condition of displays.<\/p>\n

Stock loss statistics.<\/p>\n

Adherence to store policies.<\/p>\n

Job Requirements
Essentials:<\/p>\n

Bachelor\u2019s Degree is a plus<\/p>\n

Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills.<\/p>\n

Attention to details<\/p>\n

Good English Language (Written and spoken).<\/p>\n

Strong interpersonal and customer service skills required.<\/p>\n

Previous experience in the industry\/retail is a major plus<\/p>\n

0-1 year of experience holding the same role.<\/p>\n
