Job Description<\/p>\n

Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.<\/p>\n

Perform month-end accounting activities such as reconciliations and journal entries.<\/p>\n

Evaluate computerized accounting systems and provide recommendations to IT team for performance improvements.<\/p>\n

Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable\/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity and debt activity.<\/p>\n

Analyse financial discrepancies and recommend effective resolutions.<\/p>\n

Monitor expenditures, analyse revenues and determine budget variances and report the same to management.<\/p>\n

Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely manner.<\/p>\n

Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.<\/p>\n

Assist in auditing activities by providing necessary information and preparing requested documentations.<\/p>\n

Audit accounts to ensure compliance with regulations; coordinate with outside auditors and provides needed information for the annual external audit.<\/p>\n

Present recommendations to management on short- and long-term financial objectives and policies.<\/p>\n

Provide financial analysis with an emphasis on capital investments, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.<\/p>\n

Monitor and record financial transactions according to company policies and regulations.<\/p>\n

Review and recommend changes to existing accounting procedures.<\/p>\n

Responsible for tax planning throughout the fiscal year; files annual corporate tax return.<\/p>\n

Establish internal controls and guidelines for accounting transactions and budget preparation.<\/p>\n

Oversee preparation of business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.<\/p>\n

Oversee the production of periodic financial reports; ensure that the reported results comply with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
Job Requirements<\/p>\n

Education: Commerce Bachelor degree (Accounting Department).<\/p>\n

Real estate experience is a must.<\/p>\n

Related function experience: 10+ years\u2019 experience<\/p>\n

Related position experience: 3 year experience<\/p>\n

MS office \u2013 excellent
