The Senior Account Executive (SAE) will be the day-to-day liaison between the insurance company (MIB) and designated accounts. The SAE will manage and control the relationships with his\/her clients (business managers and\/or individual customers).<br \/>Daily servicing of customers will include addressing various coverage issues, contract analysis, exposure analysis, handle and\/or direct all the inside service work associated with the clients accounts, including all endorsement activity, routine coverage questions, problem solving, renewal control, preparation of formal proposals, checking and binding policies.<br \/>The SAE should have experience in all areas of personal insurance. The SAE will inform the Producer on strategic account issues, claims and other potential problems. The SAE are responsible for overseeing all processes related to renewals, account management and new business development as well as insuring Standard Operating Procedures (SOP&#039;s) are used and followed for all insurance transactions.<br \/>Location: Van Nuys, California<br \/>Position Requirements<br \/>. Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with clients by meeting and exceeding client expectations at all times.<br \/>. Provide consistent, accurate, timely and pertinent communication to clients through constant tough via emails, phone contact and meetings.<br \/>. Respond to client inquiries\/issues within a 24 hour timeline.<br \/>. Resolve\/assist with any service or claims issues\/questions.<br \/>. Assist in design of or independently design insurance plans for clients . . . think about out-of-the-box solutions.<br \/>. Assist clients in making appropriate coverage changes make each contact a marketing opportunity.<br \/>. Conduct face-to-face meetings with the clients to review summary reports, make presentations, and to maintain client relationships as often as necessary.<br \/>. Inform and educate clients about coverage, exclusions and exposures gaps in coverage, stewardship programs and other relevant information.<br \/>. Monitor and review client satisfaction at least quarterly report findings\/issues to Producer of the account.<br \/>. Seek referrals from client base and follow through to get new accounts.<br \/>. Cross sell and\/or refer new business leads to appropriate departments.<br \/>. Know and be up to date on the utilization of carrier websites, carrier<br \/>communications, new coverage options and billing procedures.<br \/>. Quote new business and renewal options to every client to include:<br \/>Higher limits of liability<br \/>Higher deductible options<br \/>Earthquake coverage<br \/>Earthquake deductible buy back coverage<br \/>Flood coverage<br \/>Excess flood coverage<br \/>Increased mold coverage<br \/>Identity theft coverage<br \/>Umbrella or excess liability\/excess uninsured\/underinsured coverage<br \/>Employment practices liability\/board of directors and officers coverage<br \/>Inland marine coverage<br \/>Guaranteed replacement cost<br \/>Equipment breakdown coverage<br \/>Enhanced auto coverages<br \/>. Review and check policies based on SOP checklists to include proposals,<br \/>applications, letters, invoicing, summaries of insurance, certificates, evidence<br \/>of insurance, binders, etc.<br \/>. Full responsibility for managing Accounts Receivables.<br \/>. Any college course work in mathematics, communications, risk<br \/>management business administration or other analytical coursework.<br \/>. Interpersonal, analytical, problem solving abilities.<br \/>. Organizational and time management skills.<br \/>. Agency Management System (i.e., EPIC, AMS 360) or other paperless<br \/>computer system.<br \/>Physical Actions<br \/>. Required job duties are primarily sedentary work sitting for long periods of<br \/>time, consisting of occasional walking, standing and lifting and\/or carrying<br \/>10 lbs. maximum, bending, talking, and hearing.<br \/>Physical Environment<br \/>. Required job duties are normally performed in a climate controlled office<br \/>environment.<br \/>Education Requirements<br \/>. High School Diploma<br \/>. Current California Property and Casualty License, other states a plus.<br \/>Experience Requirements<br \/>. 7-10 years experience in Personal Lines client management.<br \/>. Mastery of personal lines insurance underwriting, coverage and rate analysis<br \/>(i.e., auto, home, earthquake, flood, umbrella or excess liability, identity theft,<br \/>inland marine, EPL, D&amp;O, equipment breakdown).<br \/>. In-depth knowledge of insurance coverage and an ability to communicate this<br \/>clearly to clients.<br \/>. Must understand marketplace trends and best practices to meet clients<br \/>needs.<br \/>. Agency or Brokerage experience.<br \/>. Strong negotiating skills and ability to close a sale.<br \/>. Knowledge of carrier websites to market and rate new and\/or renewal<br \/>business such as Safeco, Allied, Travelers, Chartis, ACE, Chubb, Fireman&#039;s<br \/>Fund .<br \/>.
