SUMMARY
The person in this position will be responsible for supervision and follow up all operational and mechanical activities in BE Area and ensure achieving all area\u2019s KPIs
KEY ACTIVITIES \/ RESPONSIBILITIES
\u2022 Supervise all operational and mechanical activities in BE Area.
\u2022 Follow-up and execute for the mechanical maintenance activities which includes PMs \u201cDaily, Weekly, Monthly, and annually\u201d, shutdown activities, projects, energy saving, lean activities.
\u2022 Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs
\u2022 Active communication and coordination internally with Mechanical section and Spare parts store and externally with other departments \u201cSafety, Production, Quality\u201d
\u2022 Record the maintenance activities and review job plans frequently and maintain all information up to date and generate required reports.
\u2022 Review the latest version of spare parts and upgrade the equipment under responsibility according with prior approval and maintain Inventory of all spare parts used in BE Area
\u2022 Develop, coordinate and implement actions to reduce energy consumption.
\u2022 Training co-workers on the safe and efficient use of mechanical machinery and equipment.
\u2022 Maintain the equipment in such a condition that quality standards are maintained.
\u2022 Looking for innovative, accurate and repeatable foolproof methods for Size Changes to achieve vertical startups.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
\u2022 Degree in Mechanical\/Industrial technical institute, or similar.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE
\u2022 Operation and maintenance tasks (preferred in can industry)
\u2022 Solid experience in Neckers, Spray machines, IBOs and Palletizers (preferable)
SKILLS & COMPETENCIES REQUIRED
1. Creating and implementing maintenance standard operating procedures based on specific machine knowledge
2. Performing mechanical repairs using hand and power tools.
3. Good knowledge of mechanical engineering designs, installations, maintenance, and repairs Problem solving.
4. Good understanding of modern lean manufacture technique – SMED, Kaizen 5S, Structured Problem Solving, TPM, Six Sigma etc.
5. Ability to Train others.
6. Good computer skills
7. Good experience as a troubleshooter.
