Senior CAD Specialist (Civil\/Infrastructure)
Abu Dhabi, UAE
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented CAD Specialist to join our team!
What You'll Be Doing:<\/p>\n

\n
• Develop concept sketches for the Marine Civil & Infrastructure projects for various topside elements<\/li>\n
• Develop concept sketches for the topside projects for capping beam, crane rail beam, paving, potable water, sewer, telecom and power works<\/li>\n
• Develop concept sketches for the topside projects for container terminal and various buildings e.g. Operation, Substation, Pump station works<\/li>\n
• Undertaking material take-offs and volumetric calculations and cut\/fill analysis using Civil 3D (or similar) for landside works<\/li>\n
• Preparation of detailed drawings of various project stages including plans, details, sections, and elevations and details using the CAD\/BIM model or software to complete CAD assignments<\/li>\n
• Performs CAD operations to determine project plans and collect data for designs and engineering-related activities to prepare and produce complex drawings for projects and work packages.<\/li>\n
• Manage and support Internal Contacts in compiling Tender and As-built documentation (Drawings, As-Builts, and Documents, etc.)<\/li>\n
• Development and maintenance of BIM and 3D models and libraries for all client's assets<\/li>\n
• Carryout the tasks assigned by the Engineering\/CAD team on day to day basis<\/li>\n
• Use of the EDMS system (document management system) of the client<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

  What Required Skills You'll Bring:<\/p>\n

  \n
  • Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in civil Engineering from an accredited institution.<\/li>\n
  • CAD specialist with a minimum of 10 years relevant professional experience.<\/li>\n
  • Strong knowledge of the various topside elements such as capping beam, crane rail beam, paving, potable water, sewer, telecom and power works<\/li>\n
  • Strong knowledge of the various container terminal, topside buildings e.g. Operation, Substation, Pump station works<\/li>\n
  • Basic knowledge of the MEP elements<\/li>\n
  • Knowledge of BIM software, AutoCAD and Revit<\/li>\n
  • Strong knowledge of the CAD standards<\/li>\n
  • Strong English verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to participate in a multi-disciplinary, multi-cultural engineering\/CAD team.<\/li>\n
  • Ability to meet stringent timelines<\/li>\n
  • Ability to coordinate with the various teams of the client<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
