Description
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to assist with the implementation of analytics tools, analysis of raw data and online user journeys to extract valuable business insights and recommendations. In this role, we expect you to have strong skills to grasp business challenges to apply relevant analytics solutions as needed. Effective written and verbal communication skills are essential to succeed in this role. If you understand how the digital analytics ecosystem works, can logically recommend improvements to online user journeys and can dissect datasets to uncover insights, we’d like to meet you!
Responsibilities
- Understand business needs and objectives
- Organize and liaise with multiple stakeholders to present findings and gather requirements
- Research user journeys on websites and apps
- Identify key metrics to measure and improve performance
- Extract and prepare data to present reports
- Audit of tracking implementation and user interface
- Preparing measurement related scripts as needed
- Ownership of implementation of analytics tools
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of relevant experience
- Prior experience with data analysis
- Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Optimize and Firebase
- Experience with business intelligence platforms such as Google Data Studio
- Ability to write and understand at least 1 programming language
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Qualifications
- Understanding of how websites and apps work
- Experience in data analysis and reporting; industry experience is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Excel advanced functions such as pivot tables and vlookup and/or Apps Script for Google Sheets
- Analytical skills and strong organizational abilities
- Ability to execute A/B tests
