Summary/Purpose
Essential Duties and Accountabilities:
• Key duties include, but not limited to directing the hiring, training, and developing of a highly motivated workforce to elevate the skill level of employees as well as provide flexibility in a multi-functional workforce environment in order to answer to changing needs. • The Supervisor drives continuous improvement by taking a leadership role in Lean Principles/Thinking/Tools and Visual Management; by coaching and teaching; by building robust, sensible systems and processes that cascade responsibility. • Ensures associates are working safely, following all safety rules and procedures. Also ensures that equipment is meeting all safety requirements. • Work with Kaizen Team to meet constant improvements objectives. Utilize tachinbo, Yarijimai or other tools to meet improvement targets. Other duties or responsibilities as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Knowledge of gage design, metrology, sampling procedures, containment, corrective action procedures and process control. Knowledge of manufacturing equipment capabilities.
Education and Experience:
• BS in Engineering or related Manufacturing fields preferred and 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with a minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience. Required Education Bachelor’s Degree
