The IT Services Manager's role is to ensure the streamlined operation of the IT Department in alignment with the business objectives locally and Globally. This individual will plan, coordinate, direct, and design IT-related activities of DHL EXPRESS SA, as well as provide administrative direction and support for daily operational activities of the department. Also work along MMT's Middle Management Team in other functions to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support efficient technology solutions for all aspects of the organization. This person will also define, lead and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices. Accountabilities:
Skills / Qualifications :
Very good digital literacy, particularly in Hardware, Software, Networking and Cybersecurity.
Relation Ship with IT vendors, customers, and Government Sectors.
Reporting and analysis of department performance and cost efficiency. Impact:
Analysis of IT Services continuously. Keep the Senior IT Director advised of the latest updates. Problem Complexity / Process:
Lead IT operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing the allocation of resources Customer / Partner:

  • Lead the deployment, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals.
  • Lead all aspects of provision of end-user services, including help desk and technical support services.
  • Work with collaborators to define business and systems requirements for new technology implementations.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers by identifying customer needs and overseeing service delivery within the company context.
  • Direct research on potential technology solutions in support of procurement efforts.
  • Approve and lead all aspects of projects and project portfolios.
  • Practice asset management for IT equipments.
  • Handle IT staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.

Autonomy:
The job holder will IT Director as well as the team to achieve business and customer expectations. People Management:
Job holder needs to be people-oriented and can lead multi-national team, with development progress every year. Degree of Supervision:
Responsibilities to provides job direction, reviews the performance of key results areas, checks and monitors the accuracy and timeliness of reports, and ensures that all Business information is handled with the utmost confidentiality. Major Challenges:

  • Ensuring that information and issues are treated with utmost objectivity, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Pressure is often brought about by the number, vitality, and diversity of tasks, and activities.
  • Weekly Presentations with Line Manager to review business performance and negotiate the direction forward.

Personal Specification:

  • 3-5 years in IT or a similar field.
  • Relative expeinence in management role.

Technical Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct and direct research into IT issues and products as required.
  • Ability to clearly communicate ideas in business-friendly and user-friendly language.
  • Ability to perform general mathematical calculations to create cases, budgets, and so on.
  • Highly self-motivated and directed.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Shown analytical, evaluative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize and implement tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Outstanding customer service orientation.
  • Extensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Competencies:
Planning Organizing:
Lead IT Department operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and prioritizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. Communication:
Job holder regularly communicates with all departments to update the business and confirm the roles and policy implementation, also communicate the incidents bulletins. Teamwork:
Job holders have to work closely with Regional IT Services Management and his team, and also to work with the same level of management from another department to be aligned with business expectations and compliance.
