TSM Specialist

• Administration of IBM TSM, Oracle Secure backup and Veeam Server.

• Installation/ Upgrading TSM Clients and TSM Server to a recommended level

• Upgrading Veeam backup Server as and when Update is available.

• Scripting and Automation for TSM health check and daily activities

• Install, configure as well as maintain storage hardware backup inclusive of physical plus virtual tape libraries or drives along with disk storage targets.

• Develop and maintain records for entire storage as well as FC systems.

• Administer entire server systems.

• Collaborate with DBA as well as Ops to assure apt storage usage.

• Oversee IO performance of production along with development of databases LUNs.

• Provide architecture as well as performance recommendations to DBAs and Ops.

• Conduct bottleneck evaluation to identify performance issues.

• Troubleshooting ESX issues related to storage, network and performance issues

• Manage Active Directory group, user and computer objects, the AD Schema

• Work on auditing, evidence capture and storage activities

• Windows 2016/2019/2022 Server support and troubleshooting

• Load and deploy new servers and create and maintain Windows server images

• Document server administration processes and procedures

• Monitor and tune systems to achieve optimum performance levels

• Patching Windows and Linux Servers with Ivanti Security Controls.

• Patching of AIX Servers to the latest available fixes.

• Work on end-user support tickets and resolve problems in a timely manner.

المهارات

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is a plus with minimum 7 years’ experience

• Advanced knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and IBM AIX.

• Experience with Aix or Linux servers in a virtualized environment.

• Familiarity with the fundamentals of Linux scripting languages.

• Basic Understanding of Kubernetes, RH OpenShift and / or any other container-based platform.

• Ability to troubleshoot and critically think through problems and produce technical solutions that are dependable, modifiable, and scalable.

• Basic programming experience and familiarity with scripting technologies such as bash, ksh, shell, python, ruby, etc. Any other programming experience would be a plus.

• Familiarity with load balancing, firewalls, DNS, etc.

• Good understanding of systems integration to be able to design solutions that would meet the enterprise need.
