CONTEXT
Médecins Sans Frontières is a private, non-profit international humanitarian organization dedicated to providing medical assistance to populations in crisis, without discrimination and regardless of race, religion, creed or political affiliation. Médecins Sans Frontières is seeking a Housekeeper for its guesthouse in Amman.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the supervision of the Country Office Manager and in close collaboration with the housekeeping team:

Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, toilets and other rooms in MSF houses.

Do the laundry iron clothes and other housekeeping activities.

Support the cook (washing up, cleaning the kitchen, etc.).

Sweep and mop the floors.

Restock supplies (toilet paper, soap, etc.) as required.

Upon arrival, prepare hot water for tea/coffee and refill drinking water.

Check that the toilets are well stocked with paper, soap and condoms.

Check that the water supply (kitchen, showers, etc.) is sufficient during water cuts.

Keep premises properly locked (doors, windows).
PROFILE

Primary education

At least 2 years of previous experience in humanitarian aid is required.

Eligible to work in the Jordan and if will ever need sponsorship to work in Jordan he/she should be sponsored by organization or company.

Experience in similar roles experience with Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) is preferred.

Essential, mission working language and local languages (English and Arabic).

: Fixed term contract – Full Time – 12 months renewable
