We're looking for someone who's flexible with working evening shifts (8 hours per day) and can start immediately!!
We’re looking for a Copy Editor to proofread newsletters, blog posts, ads, and other sales copy.
Job description:
- Proofread text and correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation errors
- Verify factual correctness of the information, such as dates and statistics
- Check the text for style, readability, and adherence to editorial policies
- Arrange page layouts of photos, articles, and advertisements
- Coach and give feedback to the copywriters
- Rewrite the text to improve clarity and readability
Skills required:
- Excellent/native written English, including good spelling, grammar, sentence structure, and text flow.
- A meticulous approach to their work and an eye for detail
- The knowledge of multiple sales copy formats
- The ability to maintain high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
- Being alert to any potential legal problems in the text, such as libelous statements or breach of copyright.
- Checking captions, emails, blog posts, Facebook ads, google ads, SMS, push notifications, VSL scripts…etc
