Core Domain engineer will part of Network operations center (NOC) front office team responsible for 24X7 monitoring of Mobile and fixed network elements. The role will support L2 engineers (for incident management), Core domain, end user complains resolution, periodic health checks and KPI reports.
With us you will be responsible to,
- Perform basic trouble shooting as per the defined process and escalate to L2 for next level of troubleshooting.
- Create KPIs reports of PS/IMS/CSDB/STP /DRA/SMSC/PCRF etc. Core domains and share it with relevant stakeholder for further analysis
- Support pre and post heath checks for any major network changes for Core domain (PS/IMS/CSDB/STP/DRA/PCRF) and any other domain based on the request
- Liaise with vendors as part of incident resolution and assure that the SLAs are met
- Support L2 engineers for end-to-end Incident management and network audits and analysis with the focus on proactive detection for Core domain in alignment with ITIL process
- Carry out Post-event Investigation & Maintenance Administration
- Monitor, manage, analyze and Report network performance
- Manager the approval & management of Work Order
- Overall management of GNOC at L1 level

المهارات
Apply if you have..
- Bachelor Degree in Telecom/Data/Computer Engineering or related Engineering major
- Any experience or exposure to Telecom industry
- IP knowledge is advantage (CCNA certification)
- Knowledge on Telco cloud networking, Network Functions Virtualization (NFV) and software defined networking (SDN) will be add-on
- Knowledge in Nokia product CMG, CFX500 / SBC/ UDM, Nokia CSD /PCRF/DDE/STP etc, with knowledge of Nokia cloud band products (CBIS, CBAM & CBND) is a major plus
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, Server HW, Architecture, Virtualization
- Preferably ITIL foundation certified with good understanding of ITIL Service Operation like Incident Management, Problem management etc.
- Good background of Packet Core flows (4G & 5G (NSA + SA standards)
- Basic knowledge on Roaming & interconnect
- The ability to work in shift in a 24X7 network operations center (NOC)
