- Working, with NOC team to tag required VLANs in newly allocated network ports, with SAN team for required ports and space.
- Designing Virtualization architecture
- Installing Control/IO servers and implementing Virtualization, Creating LDOMs for different applications and DB, Cluster installation and configuration for Application and Database
- Capacity optimization.
- Implementing firmware's on different hardware models.
- Co-ordinating, with DC-Facility team to book Rack space for new hardware and power supply and required cooling, with Cabling team to lay SAN and Network Cables, with Vendor to power on new Hardware.
- Planning to built servers in new hardware.
- Replacing, CRU parts for different hardware models, PCI-Card online in M7-8
- Troubleshooting, of hardware/OS/Cluster issues and fixing it, technical issues and liaise with engineering or third-party vendors to resolve product issues
- Reviewing Security policies and implementing based on Client environment.
- Work closely with service desk, network, operations and application support teams to meet day to day operational needs.
- Meeting with different team for critical activities and good customer interaction and organizational skills
- Providing quality RCA's for Sev1 and Sev2 incidents.
- Managing teams to achieve SLA related tasks.
- Providing different reports to clients and Management.
- Project management experience on medium to large scale projects
- Migration planning and implementation yearly to up-to-date OS and Hardware's.

- Participate in an energetic and active group environment, present ideas and seek ideal solutions to achieve consensus on the final design
- Package solutions for deployment repositories in Solaris 11 and RHEL 6, 7 & 8
- Enhance solutions to speed up the upgrades and updates of Solaris OS and Redhat it also helps to reduce vulnerabilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. A thorough understanding of the underlying technologies and principles of Solaris/RHEL operating systems as well as the ability to handle multiplie projects and responsibilities.
- Broad knowledge on additional Oracle products and third-party ones.
- Detailed understanding of product architecture, technical components, and application functionality
- Responsible for Server Administration, Troubleshooting and resolving all hardware issues. Plan preventive maintenance activities, DR/BCP (business continuity Planning) activities generate reports
- Monitor Unix systems and run diagnostic tests on hardware to identify problems and analyze system faults.
- Set up and document troubleshooting procedures for new products as well as for all major activities.
- Ability to mentor and display leadership and ownership of issues and process.
- Provide feedback for improvements in automation team.
- Maintain technical relevancy in networking technologies, other telecommunication products through education and reading.
- Supporting offshore L1 and L2
- Thorough knowledge in Veritas Cluster/Global Cluster, VIOM, VVR, Veritas Volume Manager
- Exposure to Veritas Resiliency Platform / Virtual Business Services for Site failover / DR
- Good knowledge of DR and BCP high availability solutions
- Good understanding of SAN, NAS, TCP/IP and Firewall concepts
- Has in-depth knowledge in ZFS concepts.
- VMware working experience is desirable
- Industry Standard Certification preferred (UNIX/VERITAS)
- Ability to succeed under pressure and in fast-paced environment
- Good written and verbal communication
- Knowledge on ITSM process
