We are seeking an ambitious individual to take up a knowledge analyst role in their knowledge management team, supporting the Public Sector Practice (PSP) across the India, Middle East and Africa (IMEA) region. This placement will be based in our Riyadh Office.
The Opportunity:
This role reports directly to the Head of Knowledge Management for EIMEA. There will also be a high degree of co-ordination with the Senior Knowledge Analyst for PSP based in Warsaw. An important aspect of the role will be to build excellent working relationships with the key practice figures across the IMEA region, including partners, consultants and support professionals.
The purpose of this role is to help support, develop and facilitate knowledge sharing across the business (developing content management tools, cultivating human networks and informal knowledge transfer, practice focused research and analysis to support IC generation and advisory services).
Your tasks will include:
- Act as facilitator in the transfer of intellectual capital across PSP IMEA
- Serve as a key resource to Partners to help them be commercially successful and project teams to be impactful with their clients
- Coordinate and manage the capture, classification, storage and sharing of Oliver Wyman's knowledge base within PSP IMEA
- Work closely with the Senior Knowledge Analyst for European PSP as well as the global team of Knowledge Management professionals across the globe
- Help curate and develop key knowledge products including, qualifications, frameworks and learning materials, for example
- Collaborate on the PSP knowledge site on the Knowledge Management platform to ensure the newest and best-of content and projects are showcased, remove outdated materials proactively and identify content gaps
- Identify leading Oliver Wyman experts in key topic areas for the PSP practice
- Work closely with the Senior Knowledge Analyst for European PSP and the business area leaders to identify cross-practice content priorities, promote IC sharing behaviours, identify blockages, suggest improvements, develop content priorities and plan for annual practice meetings and overall communications
Experience and Skills Required:
- Educated to Degree level – ideally with an MLS (or equivalent) and/or accredited Knowledge Management qualification
- 2-3 years experience in either Knowledge Management or Public Sector (ideal candidate would have both)
- Excellent English and Arabic communication skills both written and spoken is a must
- Ability to work effectively on own initiative and collaboratively as a part of a global team in a multicultural environment
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PPT) familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
- Knowledge of SharePoint an advantage
- Communication skills, ability to collaborate with colleagues on different seniority levels, geographical locations and areas of the business
- Organization and multi-tasking skills, time and deadline management skills
- Problem-solving skills, ability to work through a challenge to completion
- An eye for detail and accuracy
- A desire to learn about a variety of industries and capabilities
