Job Summary
AECOM are currently seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to be based on the NEOM program. The Logistics Manager will act as the Company representative for all logistic matters with the Client during the program execution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and assessing the logistics needs of all teams, identifying issues, proactively suggest solutions.
- Review, understand and ascertain from the contractor's schedules the magnitude of the required movement of people and materials to and from the project sites.
- Work closely with the consultants / PMC to develop ways to expedite the movement of materials and people required by the construction contractors for each museum.
- Provide guidance to make the necessary adjustments in the site, regarding roadway and infrastructure.
- Ensuring compliance of changes and switchovers are done in a safe manner.
- Conduct spot checks on the field for traffic and other hazards, then escalate issues appropriately and participate in the resolution.
- Work with the engineering design teams to influence the system design based on operational and support considerations.
- Support contractor's weekly meetings and the weekly meetings with the client's consultants.
Minimum Requirements
- Minimum 15 years experience within the field of Construction Logistics
- Previous experience working on large scale programs
- Middle East experience is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor Level Degree from an accredited University
