Senior M&E Officer
M&E Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop projects’ logical framework and KPIs based on donors’ requirements.
- Manage the monitoring activities and tracking of indicators for multiple projects
- Lead the development of data collection methodology and tools.
- Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate data collection using various tools, according to the log-frames and the Monitoring and Evaluation Plans.
- Regular presence in the field by conducting routine field visits to the various project locations on-site and online.
- Play a key role in the qualitative data collection methods (FGDs) and make sure that standard operating procedures in terms of facilitation, note taking, preparing summaries, transcriptions, scanning and storage are applied.
- Ensure accurate and high-quality data during the collection, entry, and upload
- Perform the data cleaning and analysis, and keep the data quality log and the preliminary analysis up to date.
- Provide analysis and prepare regular project reports (Monthly, quarterly), as well as preparing comprehensive high quality project reports that meet donors’ requirements (to be submitted to donors)
- Provide daily follow-up and support on the data collection efforts for monitoring activities, including organizing logistics and liaising with other departments/program staff.
- Provide regular verbal and written feedback on field observations and monitoring findings and follow up on actions taken
- Prepare infographics that summarize the project/program’s achievements
- Build and maintain good working relations and collaboration with staff/ departments, and ensure proper communication of the projects’ results and concerns, in addition to being updated on the projects’ activities and plan
- Identify red flags in projects’ implementation, delays in progress, and/or log quality results, and report them back to the relevant staff and ensure the documentation of issues and actions
- Facilitate data collection for larger assessment activities and projects, and support in data cleaning of the projects’ baseline, mid-line and end-line assessments carried out in the various projects locations.
- Prepare lessons learned and recommendations reports and presentations, to facilitate the learning process across departments.
EDUCATION/ QUALIFICATION
University Degree in the field of Industrial Engineering, Computer Sciences, Public Administration, Economics, or any related field.
