About Our Client
The incumbent will support all aspects of the firm's Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Sustainability compliance program and will be expected to maintain a general understanding of requirements for corporate sustainability and governance practices.
Job Description
- Evaluate ESG regulatory requirements and supporting regulatory implementation processes designed to prepare business partners and the Compliance team for new rules.
- Identify ESG related compliance risks including the ability to create integrated global compliance solutions to mitigate risk while pro-actively guiding business processes and activities.
- Evaluating external requests for information and drafting appropriate responses regarding the Firm's ESG compliance program.
- Developing, drafting and monitoring compliance policies related to ESG.
- Participating in the ongoing implementation and execution of risk assessments and compliance testing related to ESG.
The Successful Applicant
- Minimum 10+ years of experience working in sustainability, ESG or public policy fields.
- Beneficial: Post graduate Diploma or equivalent in Applied Corporate Governance.
- Demonstrated understanding and competency in application of Saudi Arabia Corporate Governance Regulations.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required, including experience in writing and understanding legal texts. Additional languages will be desirable.
