STAKEHOLDER ENGINEER (NOC ENGINEER)
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with all Stakeholders, Authorities, Consultants and Contractors on all project related documents such as NOCs, Permits, Approvals on design and construction related, handover requirements and handover works.
- Preparation of reports, manuals and guideline documents pertaining to specific handover and stakeholder issues as required by the client.
- Provide support to the Construction Supervision team & client representative to oversee the handover process of the contracts.
- Liaise with Design Consultants and Contractors including review technical design and provide comments where applicable.
- Coordination with other relevant disciplines such as Engineers, Mechanical and Electrical Engineers, Architects etc.
- Attend weekly / monthly meetings as necessary for all types of projects, keep track and record all required actions from all Stakeholders and follow up on the progress as required.
- Liaise with Key Stakeholders and Authorities to ensure a smooth handover of assets on completion of works
- Provide handover and stakeholders input to weekly / monthly reports.
- Ensure the timely review of all documents submitted by the Consultant and/or Contractor.
- Inform the Team Leader of any potential delays in the project completion or milestones.
- Participate in all site safety training and comply with all site safety protocols.
- Provide all necessary on-site direction and work to team to complete the handover tasks.
- Ensure correctness and completeness of ‘As-Built’ drawings, O&M manuals and all related authorities checklists and documents.
- Establish NOC trackers to track NOC status and ensure timely intervention to ensure approvals in time.
- Coordination with the Client dealings (both internal and external) and liaise with all government offices and service authorities in UAE for all technical queries and issues
- Monitor project schedules regularly to determine any delays or deviations, related to NOC progress
المهارات
Qualifications/Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction related field,
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a stakeholder/NOC Coordination position, liaising with authorities in Abu Dubai
- Proven experience in dealing and liaising with government authorities in Abu Dubai and their NOC system
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills in English, Arabic would be an advantage
