Charging and Billing Planning Engineer Team Member

Maintain and configure Zain's products and services on Charging and Billing platforms as well as analyzing these products and services. In addition to resolving fraud, customers related issues, and revenue assurance discrepancies. Generating different statistics and KPIs to maintain performance of the systems.

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Computer engineering
• Preferred : 2 years of relevant experience

Technical & Executive

• Design, develop and configure products and services on charging and billing systems according to the guidelines and Zain’s procedures.
• Ensure implementing the best practices for cost savings, quality procedures and efficiency practices and ensure business processes are set according to telecom business standards, implemented and automated.
• Analyzing current products and services and recommending initiatives that aim to improve them as well as evaluating and delivering new products and services and supporting the implementation process.
• Collaborating with the Marketing function to implement and deploy new changes related to Business configuration and to ensure functionality of related operations.
• Analyzing marketing requirements and generating related figures and statistics as well as establishing charging and billing systems’ KPIs to maintain performance of the charging and billing functions.
• Work on charging and billing projects and upgrades in addition to in house projects.
• Coordinating with the Marketing function in planning and developing new products and services and monitoring their delivery process.
• Simulating new products and services along with periodical alterations to ensure its smooth running once in service as well as suggesting changes that may improve.
• Analyzing system functions and features and perform needed analysis and studies to enable these features
• Testing new changes and products according to procedures.
• Following up on customer’s problems and complaint.
• Performing root cause analysis for issues on charging and billing systems.
• Managing the preparation of necessary documents for internal and external audits as per the set guidelines and policies as well as providing needed assistance and guidance to the auditors.
• Contributing to resolving fraud cases and revenue assurance discrepancies and recommending on preventive measures for associated causes as well ensuring that loopholes are identified and properly dealt with.
• Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the direct supervisor
