Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  1. Work closely with GM and the management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow their implementation.
  2. Analyze and improve organizational process and workflow, employee and space requirements and equipment layout; implement changes
  3. Maintain safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations
  4. Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations
  5. Accomplish operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  6. Meet or exceed operations labor budget expectations
  7. Operation Manager should know the monthly income, expenses, profit and loss details of the division and interfere whenever necessary
  8. Ability to prioritize the tasks
  9. Capable of professionally delegating tasks
  10. Must be able to evaluate all the personal under the Division, technically and mentally
  11. Must be ready to go on site visit whenever required.
  12. Must be aware about all the contracts under his responsibilities
  13. Be familiar with our obligations and terms & condition in the project contracts and must be able to add all necessary comments to the contract whenever needed
  14. Must be able of drafting contractual letters to the clients, vendors and subcontractors
  15. Must be familiar with spare parts for all equipment (Chilled system, Generator, All Electrical accessories) and able to find compatible parts whenever needed.
  16. Regularly report status of new and ongoing projects to General Manager (by sending a weekly and monthly reports)
  17. To be able of managing crisis at work.
  18. Manage staff levels, wages, hours, contract labor to revenues
  19. Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all operations employees
  20. Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace
  21. Must be able to manage subcontractors
  22. Responsible for all aspects of vehicle and heavy equipment rentals
  23. Establish contracts and pricing and ensuring proper maintenance and serving as primary liaison with utilities and local government agencies, such as fire, police, health, and safety agencies
  24. Manage relationships with key operations vendors
  25. Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels
  26. Review and approve all operational invoices and ensure they are submitted for payment
  27. Serve as primary point of contact when there are customer issues related to equipment quality, customer service, or accidents and mishaps on-site. In particular, this includes any issues on-site at client facilities, such as breaking a fence or tape residue on flooring
  28. Communicate customer issues with operations team and devise ways of improving the customer experience, including resolving problems and complaints
  29. Communicate all operating policies and/or issues at department meetings
  30. Work closely with the inventory manager and team to perform analysis of our inventory and ensure we are utilizing our inventory effectively, purchasing the right equipment, maintaining solid inventory data, and reduce sub-rental expenses

المهارات

Position Requirements – Education, Experience & Competencies:

  • Minimum a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a well-recognized University.
  • Certified in Management (FMP , MBA , PMP , CEM or similar )
  • Fifteen years minimum experience in a similar position
  • Excellent experience in setting and implementing policies and procedures
  • Excellent experience in all Utilities processes and O&M: STP (Both Conventional and MBR), Reverse Osmosis, District Cooling (Centrifugal, Reciprocating and Rotary Compressors) ,Power Generation, Transformers, Electrical Satellite Substations and underground and above piping
  • Familiar with all codes and standards related to the technical fields (ASHRAE, NEC, INTERNATIONAL PLUMBING CODE, WATER TREATMENT CODE, AWWA,NFPA)
  • Position is restricted for Saudi Nationals ONLY
