Position Title
Assistant Category Manager-Ecommerce
POSITION OBJECTIVE
The job holder will be responsible for implementing assortment, merchandising, pricing & promotion strategies to develop the Concept brand on e-commerce in line with the concept objectives and ensure that positioning of the brand is consistent throughout the region and new markets.
DO-KEY RESPONSIBLITIES

Strategy-Core Responsibilities:
- You merchandise the site to maximize add to cart, average basket value and sales through the planning and execution of product features, promotions and cross selling.
- You know what products to feature based on offline performance, seasonality and market trend
- You check competition and best in class retailers to research trends in products and pricing
- You're experienced with working with Merchandising and Marketing calendars to plan your features and events
- You work jointly with the stakeholders, co-ordinate promotions and develop online exclusive promotions that align to the concept and online marketing calendar
- You analyze the effectiveness of the promotions in achieving the targeted levels of sales and margins
- You assist in the creation of merchandise/ seasonal plans for the concept/ brand based on insights gained from merchandise analytics, customer preference, historical and current fashion trends
- You analyze the weekly and monthly performance VS the KPIs and present your conclusions to the online team as well as your concept
- You understand how your products must be presented online to maximize conversion and consistently Q/C the site and give feedback to the content team
- You ensure optimum category inventory levels are maintained at Category level keeping in mind online trading
- You ensure excess Category inventory is not maintained at the warehouses and ensure flow of stock back to Concept/Brand
- You keep up with the latest trends in the ecommerce merchandising space
