Job Description
Leading the strategy, implementation, and optimisation ofmulti-marketperformancecampaigns from the Riyadh. In addition to the normalbiddableday to daythe role offers the fantastic opportunity of looking at media holistically on a global scale and handling not only media activation but acting as an advisor on the brands strategic long-term marketing plansand drivingthe digital evolution of the brand.
This unique role as thePerformance Director isbased in Riyadh and will require regular contact with local market clients. The ideal candidate with have significant Paid Search and Paid Social expertise both technical and strategicas well asa strong grounding on how this media fits into the overall digital ecosphere,specifically how Programmatic works with these channels to form an audience led approach to planning.
As a senior lead the candidate will also be expected to teach, nurture and advance their AM and AE's development in the industry, pushing them to deliver best in class award winning workand set goals and objectives for theteamspersonal development over time.
Responsibilities
- Leadership of client communication with the support of client partners acrosstheaccount.
- Leading digital performance strategy andoverseeingimplementationacross search and social, whilst having a view on their display and programmatic offering
- Primary lead on activation optimisation strategy and tactics
- Development ofdirect report to become self-sufficient in delivery of campaign implementation and optimisations.
- Setting an annual performance strategy and goals that drive client's business performance
- Lead on the performance forecasting and delivery across all media, with focus on meeting client KPIs and performance targets
- Collaborative lead on the monitoring and review of resourcing required within all areas of media activation – including resource hiring when applicable
- Collaboratively pull together wider business teams across analytics, adops and insights to deliveron day to day campaign delivery
- Collaborative lead (withpartner) on client reviews of all activation – BAU, campaign specific and channel planning
- Collaborative secondary lead (with other Directors) on the management of day to day relationships withGoogle,social&tech providers.
- Learn and then lead the usage of planning frameworksas part of our rigorous campaign planning process
- Lead and collaborative remit on non-client specificactivation management workstreams and projects – as assigned bysenior leadership
The candidate:
- 6years + experiencein digital media, ideally from an agency side background (client side or a mix will also be considered)
- Experience managing search, socialand/or displayfrom both a technical and strategic POV.
- Experience in audience led planning
- People management experience of managing a team
- Strong leadership skills and ability to manage upwards and downwards
- Experience leading clients within digital
- Strongorganisationalandcommunicationskills
- A drive toremain at the cutting edge of digital media and progress both the client's business and the agency skill through their work.
