SENIOR PLANT OPERATOR

Job Description

Summary
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
2. Monitors and records all machinery performance readings, verifies reports and takes necessary corrective action.
3. Assists in developing operational procedures and provides technical instruction to optimize the operation of the equipment and enhance reliability.
4. Inspects and maintains equipment during shift to detect any malfunctions. Maintains log sheets showing operating data of equipment. Maintains all records related to the operation and maintenance of utilities equipment.
5. Participates in the commissioning work and function test of new equipment/systems, as related.
6. Off-loading (LPG) Liquid Propane Gas, (LOX) Liquid Oxygen and Diesel Fuel.
7. Operates electrical transmission and distribution control switchgear systems as instructed.
8. Ensures safe isolation/ clearance of all plant systems that require preventive maintenance or repair.
9. Coordinates and participates in drills and implementation of all disaster and contingency plans as required.
10. Follows all prescribed safety procedures.
11. Follows all Hospital related policies and procedures.
12. Participates in self and others education, training and development, as applicable.Education
