Business Analyst
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Product Manager to gather requirements and ensure alignment with the product roadmap.
- Collaborate with the Product Manager to prioritize features and functionalities for the Retail Point of Sale system.
- Conduct market and industry research to stay up to date with emerging trends and best practices related to Retail Point of Sale systems.
- Lead and facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations with stakeholders and end-users to gather requirements, present solutions, and provide updates.
- Act as a liaison between the business stakeholders, development team, and end-users to ensure effective communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Contribute to the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Monitor project progress and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely delivery.
- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project status, risks, and issues.
- Mentor and train junior Business Analysts and team members on best practices and processes related to Retail Point of Sale systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 3 years of experience working with Retail Point of Sale systems.
- In-depth understanding of Retail Point of Sale systems, including software functionality and architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and design effective solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile development environments.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
