Presales Engineer
Job Summary:
As part of the Business Development Department, the Pre-Sales will supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the “technical close” in complex solutions. The Pre-Sales collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address client needs, and are appropriately supported by key client technical decision-makers.
Job Duties & Responsibility:
· Develop a full understanding of ITG's products and solutions portfolio.
· Create and update on a regular basis an answer bank to all products.
· Keep track of deadlines and other important dates related to RFPs and demos.
· Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address client requirements, assesses customers’ met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.
· In coordination with the Senior Pre-Sales, Preparation of adequate Demo sites for each product to target specific customers
· Work closely with the designated Professional Service team to ensure all demo sites are consistent and free of bugs.
· Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support.
Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with clients’ business requirements.
Qualifications
· 1-3 years of experience in sales or sales engineering, large/strategic clients segment.
· Excellent command of written and spoken English.
