Job Description

Summary
Supports the testing and release of custom applications, and for providing ongoing support for these applications. Ensures that the application-based solutions of the Applications Development Department satisfy the needs of the business as a whole, and of individual clients.Essential Responsibilities and Duties
2.Creates test transactions and runs tests to find errors and to confirm programs meet specifications.
3.Works closely with the Informatics Systems Operations, Technical Support, and End-User Training Departments to draft procedural manuals and training material.
4.Maintains custom applications by fixing bugs and implementing updates.
5.Monitors application performance and suggest optimization opportunities.
6.Follows prescribed system safety and security procedures of computing environment.
7.Participates in self & others education, training and development, as applicable.
8.Follows all hospital related policies and procedures.
9.Performs other related duties as assigned.Education
Master's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related discipline is required.Experience Required
Other Requirements(Certificates)
Knowledge of SCRUM methodologies preferred.
