This role is primarily responsible for activating supervision and detailed oversight over the bank’s credit activities through the implementation of a robust credit risk framework in compliance with the delegated risk policy and risk appetite by the Board of Directors. Assists the business units in achieving the strategic objectives of the bank by monitoring and developing value-added reporting to executive management and supervisor.
Ensures regular oversight over business with respect to risk appetite, risk policy and regulatory limits, through risk reporting, including quantitative assessments. Coordinates the review of credit processes, quality of portfolio, classification trends, personnel movements, and market developments that affect asset quality of the unit. Verifies and validates of Risk Models on yearly basis. Monitors and analyzes the bank’s credit portfolio exposures, concentrations, limits and breaches comprehensively . Drafts and updates existing credit risk policies and procedures in a timely manner. Conducts periodic reporting to the supervisor including, Stress testing, Capital Adequacy, ICAAP, Basel III and Watch List Provisioning. Assists with nominated projects as identified in the Credit Risk Plan. Implements and maintains the segmentation policy Other Duties that are assigned by the manager .
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in the relevant field (Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, Actuarial Science, etc.) Experience: 3 – 4 years of experience in risk, credit or any relevant field.
