MDS Transmission & Projects Sr. Engineer

Job Brief

Responsible for following up on transmission planning activities such as survey, implementation with the field team and the contractors. Also responsible for following up on the implementation activities with the field teams and the contractors, preparing the connectivity plan , coordinating with all related parties to configure E2E service, and manage hardware stock and materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee transmission planning tasks including surveys and implementation activities in collaboration with the field team and contractors.
• Conduct transmission planning activities, such as designing MW links, creating connectivity plans, preparing bills of quantities (BOQ), and developing technical proposals for the planning area.
• Track the progress of implementation tasks in coordination with the field team and contractors.
• Create technical proposals for new projects and provide regular project updates to stakeholders.
• Develop connectivity plans and collaborate with relevant parties to configure end-to-end (E2E) services.
• Manage inventory and materials for hardware.
• Document all MDS reports, including line-of-sight survey reports and as-built documentation.
