Position: Telecom Engineer
Location: KSA (this role requires extensive travel within KSA)
Employment Type: Contract
Duration of contract: 1-year extendable contract
Payroll : NES Fircroft
Responsibilities:
Main Accountabilities of the Telecoms Commissioning Engineer

Main technical customer point of contact for the project
Supports the PDH/SDH Upgrade projects team in the deployment of a MPLS-TP solution including:
Prepare Site testing documentation and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) activities including:
MPLS-TP link/system commissioning
Ethernet and E1 client interface testing
Element and Network Management System
Prepare installation, commissioning and migration procedures and support installation and commissioning.

Experience with the following Telecom systems is required:

MPLS-TP Systems. (Preferred knowledge: Infinera, Nokia, Huawei or OTN Systems)
Optical Transport Network installation & Commissioning.
Optical Leak detection and intrusion detection systems. (desired).
Network Design, Installation, Roll-out, Commissioning, Maintenance, 24/7 Support
Strong technical customer interface ability
Qualified to bachelor's degree level or equivalent
Strong MPLS-TP , SDH, TDM (E1) commissioning experience preferably with Infinera 7090 Series.
Valid Driving Licenses
