We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Environmental Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8 years or more of experience in managing quality systems, environmental compliance, and ISO certification. The primary responsibility of this position is to ensure that our company's environmental policies and procedures comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards. The candidate should come from a Solar & PV background, Power Generations or transmission or sewage treatment plants.
Key Responsibilities:
•Develop, implement and maintain the company's environmental management system to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
•Manage environmental compliance activities related to air, water, and waste management.
•Develop and implement environmental training programs for employees to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
•Conduct environmental audits and assessments to identify potential environmental hazards and recommend corrective actions.
•Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
•Ensure that the company's environmental policies and procedures are communicated to all employees and contractors.
•Maintain ISO certification and ensure that the company's environmental management system is in compliance with ISO standards.
•Develop and implement environmental sustainability programs to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
•Provide technical support to project teams to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
•Develop and implement emergency response plans to mitigate environmental hazards.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering or related field.
•PMP Certification is an added plus.
•8 years or more of experience in managing quality systems, environmental compliance, and ISO certification.
•Experience in Solar & PV background, Power Generations or transmission or sewage treatment plants.
•Strong knowledge of environmental regulations and standards.
•Experience in developing and implementing environmental management systems.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•Strong project management skills.
