The King Hussein Foundation/ Institute For Family Health is looking to recruit:

▪Team Leader (Fixed Term Project):

Job Purpose:

Leading the team in different districts and coordinate the day-to-day work to achieve the project and IFH proposed targets through planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting of activities.

Major Responsibilities:

– Monitoring day to day project activities.

– Planning towards achieving the proposed objectives of IFH and the project.

– Presenting IFH in working groups, task forces and coordination meetings.

– Submitting qualitative and quantitative reports.

– Following up and monitoring the workplan.

– Carry out any other tasks and obligations assigned to you by your line manager that fit within your area of expertise.

Major Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in management, or any related Field.

– (2-3) years minimum experience of working as a team leader.

Skills & Abilities:

– Good awareness of the law and regulations of humanitarian and international institutions.

– Good awareness of preparation reports either in English or Arabic.

– Strong communication, team building, and team player skills.

– Ability of working and understanding multicultural environments in which development and community engagement projects operate.

– Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages (MS word, Excel, etc.).

Job Purpose:

Identify the case needs, follow it up, coordinate and network with institutions and individuals either inside and outside the institution and follow up the case from the opening of the file until its closure.

Major Responsibilities:

– Conduct Initial Interview for the case including initial assessment.

– Documentation of the case’s information on the organization systems and platforms.

– Ensure protection of the case with follow up to guarantee his / her safety.

– Report any case exposed to violence through the official means of reporting.

– Carry out any other tasks and obligations assigned to you by your line manager that fit within your area of expertise

Requirements:

– bachelor’s degree in psychology or sociology or any related Field.

– (2) years minimum experience in case management.

– Educate patients in order for them to grasp their medical condition.

– Submit technical reports to the direct supervisor in the subject of managing visual impairments.

– Give advice in eye surgery and laser surgery.

– Contribute to other Institute programs such as free medical days and clinic support.

– Consider the medical and psychosocial elements of patient care.

– Participate in health promotion and illness prevention activities.

– Participation in administrative meetings, courses, and continuing education.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in optometry. Minimum diploma certificate.

– (2-3) years minimum experience.

– Having the license to practice the profession of Optometrist from Jordanian Ministry of Health.

Skills & Abilities:

– Good awareness of preparation reports either in English or Arabic.

– Good Knowledge of the use and operation of medical equipment in one’s field of specialization

– CPR course (knowledge of first aid procedures)

– Good computer skills ( Ms Office) specially Excel.

– Good communication skills.

Job Purpose:

Examine the case using special hearing testing devices, determine the level of hearing and the extent to which hearing aids are required, write case reports, and submit them to the direct supervisor.

Major Responsibilities:

– Examination of patients with hearing difficulties by special devices

– Determine the patient’s hearing level and the extent to which hearing aids are required.

– Identify the type and power of hearing aids.

– Provide the Instruction on how to use hearing aids, install, remove, change, and maintain batteries

– Submit technical hearing therapy reports to the direct supervisor.

– Maintenance of work-related devices, hearing aids, and sound isolation room

– Using and developing occupational safety and health tools and methods

– Create the audio diagrams required for references.

– Submit periodic reports to the direct manager and discuss them in meetings on a regular basis.

– Participation in administrative meetings, courses, and continuing education.

– Carry out any other tasks and responsibilities assigned to by direct manager that fall within your area of expertise.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in Audiology.

– (2-3) years minimum experience.

– Having the license to practice the profession of Audiology from Jordanian Ministry of Health.

Skills & Abilities:

– Good awareness of preparation reports either in English or Arabic.

– Good Knowledge of the use and operation of medical equipment in one’s field of specialization
