Technical Sales Engineer
Position: – TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER
Objective:
The Engineer will be responsible for managing and leading sales meetings, finding leads, and providing support as an operation and maintenance engineer for PV systems when requested. The individual will utilize their technical expertise, communication skills, and problem-solving abilities to achieve organizational sales targets and ensure effective operation and maintenance of PV systems.
Responsibilities:
Sales Management:
• Manage and lead sales meetings with potential clients to present and discuss technical solutions.
• Understand client requirements and propose appropriate engineering solutions.
• Follow, develop and be involved in the sales strategies and social media content development.
• Create and deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to potential clients.
Lead Generation:
• Identify and generate leads through market research, networking, and other relevant channels.
• Collaborate and get involved with the marketing team to develop lead generation campaigns and materials.
Operation and Maintenance Engineering:
Perform operation and maintenance activities for PV systems when requested.
• Conduct inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Monitor PV system performance, analyze data, and identify opportunities for optimization.
• Prepare maintenance reports and recommend necessary corrective actions.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Power Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in sales management, preferably in the renewable energy sector is a plus .
• Technical knowledge of PV systems, electrical and mechanical components, and power systems.
• Familiarity with operation and maintenance practices for PV systems.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
