3. In-depth knowledge of different types of flowers, plants, and foliage commonly used in event decorations, including their characteristics, availability, and seasonality.
4. Proficiency in various floral design techniques, including arrangements, installations, and structural designs.
5. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to timelines.
6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, event planners, and other team members.
7. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced event environment.
8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy floral arrangements and equipment.
9. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
10. Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
11. Knowledge of event planning and design principles is desirable.
12. Formal education or certification in floral design, event management, or a related field is a plus.
