ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT

This position is based in Rome and reports to the Global Accommodation and Wellness unit of the Business Development and Digital Transformation Branch (MSDD).

THE ROLE

The position works towards ensuring our colleagues serving in the field have a safe and comfortable place to stay and easy to access medical services in field clinics by supporting service innovation and customer support through the UN Booking Hub Global Shared Service.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (not all-inclusive)

A). UN ACCOMMODATION SERVICES – UN Booking Hub

  1. Establish and maintain partnerships with business counterparts to effectively meet their needs and communicate the Global Shared Service benefits and features
  2. Contribute to ensure humanitarian staff’s easy and successful access to WFP and UN accommodation services globally
  3. Support in the accommodation platform’s roll out and implementation of field offices in using the accommodation digital office services for both WFP and the other Organizations.
  4. Organize effective change management using online material, training and webinar sessions, update support and training materials, manuals and communication to provide global guidance on the provided services and new features being rolled out.
  5. Support definition and prioritization of new digital functionalities, providing requirements description, and ensuring successful delivery to end users

B). UN WELLNESS SERVICES – UN Booking Hub

  1. Establish and maintain partnerships with business counterparts to effectively meet their needs and communicate the Global Shared Service benefits and features
  2. Deliver UN Wellness services global roll out to WFP operations to streamline online booking for WFP staff and dependents and backend digital management for service administrators.
  3. Deliver online training to WFP Clinics medical, wellness doctors and admin staff on the use of the new UN clinics Digital Office.
  4. Support definition and prioritization of new digital functionalities, providing requirements description, and ensuring successful delivery to end users.
  5. Provide quarterly and yearly reports to Wellness Division on digital service implementation

C). ACCOMMODATION AND WELLNESS CUSTOMER SATISFACTION SURVEYS

  1. Support the preparation, submittal, results analysis, and reporting of the accommodation global customer surveys for WFP and other UN Agencies, monitoring perceived quality of service in operations and providing insights of strategy pillars and action items to address improvements.
  2. Support the preparation of questionnaires dedicated to collect customers’ feedback on the quality of service and digital implementation of WFP Clinics and Wellness services both in HQ and field location. Data collection and analysis aimed at results’ visualization and monitoring perceived quality of service to address improvements.

QUALIFICATIONS & KEY REQUIREMENTS

Education:

  • University degree in Business or Public Administration, Marketing, Communications, or other relevant fields.

Experience:

  • At least three (3) years of postgraduate experience in marketing of digital products and services, customer relationship management and change management.

Language:

  • Proficiency in writing and verbal communication in English language is required.
  • Knowledge of French language is an asset.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

This is an International Professional position and is open to all nationalities.

Limited Fixed-Term Appointment (LFT) position is a non-mobile staff appointment in the international professional category for a limited period for up to 2 years. Incumbents of LFT positions are not eligible to apply for other mobile positions advertised internally through the Reassignment.

WFP offers an attractive compensation and benefits package in line with ICSC standards (http://icsc.un.org) including basic salary, post adjustment, relocation entitlement, visa, travel and shipment allowances, 30 days’ annual leave, home leave, an education grant for dependent children, a pension plan, and medical insurance.

The selected candidate will be required to relocate to Rome, Italy to take up this assignment.
