IT System Administrator
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provide advanced helpdesk support for on-site and remote users such as (Microsoft Windows OS, Microsoft Office, Office365, Connectivity, Printing Services, Identity Management, Business Related applications Support …etc)
- Perform operations related to User onboarding and offboarding, including but not limited to asset allocation, user creation on AD, mailbox setup on O365 etc.
- Management and troubleshooting of on premise and cloud environments.
- Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage.
- Requires extensive knowledge of administering Microsoft Office 365/ Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, Azure Private Cloud, Microsoft Hyper-V and related cloud applications, in a hybrid environment.
- Maintenance and Operations of infrastructure servers such as Active Directory (ADUC, Group Policy, etc.), Domain Name Services (DNS), DHCP and Azure Active Directory.
- Configure, install, and support various network devices and services, including WAN and LAN connectivity, routers, firewalls, & security.
- Administer, maintain, and upgrade all network and telephony devices, services, and protocols such as Cisco Meraki Firewalls, Access Points and switches etc.
- Perform network, server and security audits, review logs for errors and trends, and ensure proper function of network infrastructure.
- Perform daily backup operations, file systems and system data, business data & SQL Database.
- Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems, and key processes.
- Maintain inventory and asset configuration documentation.
- Manage Endpoint security cloud-based application such as (Sophos, Symantec Enterprise Cloud)
- Mange Email Backup and Security cloud-based application such as (Barracuda)
- Manage Passive Network Components on-site and remotely such as (UPS’s, Servers Rooms, Cabinets managements and organization, Cabling, Labeling, Network connectivity testing).
- Manage and administer time attendance appliances and application, access management, CCTV.
- Interface with vendor technical personnel in providing problem resolution.
- Assist in the maintenance of system-level IT security procedures, and ensure all systems meet defined security standards.
- Suggest security improvements to increase security posturing and aid in threat mitigation.
- Working knowledge of MS SQL server, relational databases, etc. a plus
- Implement Single Sign On (SSO) with third party APIs when possible
- Conduct enterprise-wide security audits on user accounts, and system access.
- Maintain network configurations and assess and resolve network performance issues (internet bandwidth problems, ISP issues and firewall/router issues)
n Required Skills/Qualifications
– B.Sc. of Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or any related IT field
– 5+ years of a combination of providing end-user support and systems administration experience.
– O365/Windows System Administration experience.
– MCSE, MCSP, CCNA Certified
– Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Certificate is a plus.
– Azure experience
– Cisco Meraki Experience, (ECMS1/ECMS2) is a plus.
– Hands on experience with Software Imaging and Distribution, Remote Support and Monitoring tools.
