GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
|
- A senior smart city executive with 5 to 7 years of experience in leading smart cities from conception, design, launch and successful operations.
|
|
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
|
- Reporting to the Head of TASMU Platform, the Smart City Leader will provide subject matter expertise on designing, developing, and delivering smart city vision by benchmarking/leading smart city practices that will enhance the citizen & business environment, attract foreign and domestic investment, and transform city organizations and operating models
- Supporting the Head of Commercial in helping solve client problems by offering both strategic & operational expertise, thought leadership through white papers and development of methodologies & frameworks to effectively deliver to our clients’ needs
- Lead and deliver complex pre-sales client engagements and actively participate in development of presentations, proposals for business development activities
- Support and advise the Commercial team in building and growing the TASMU Platform cities offerings/portfolio roadmap and market entry strategies
- Effectively communicate the TASMU Platform by inputting into the design, research and drafting of thought leadership publications
- Mentor, train and develop TASMU Platform team knowledge in the smart city space
- Support the Operations team in leading and delivering important, large or complex client engagements that identify, design, and implement smart solutions/use cases
- Provide subject matter expertise on operating smart city platforms, and operations centers (command and control centers) with the addition of smart solutions across industry verticals like transportation, logistics, health, environment, and sports

SKILLS & ABILITIES
|
- Proven 5 to 7 years of smart cities experience in a leadership role in a Consulting firm working closely with public sector clients and/or for a world class smart city
- Deep understanding of Smart City techno-commercial value chain, services architecture, and ecosystem elements in a cloud environment
- Experience in the Middle East region and prior knowledge of the Qatar market is preferrable
- Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) in English, with also Arabic being preferable
