A US based Software Development Company is looking to hire Regional IT Project Manager for its offices in Dubai, UAE. Candidates with experience dealing with US and Europe based clients will be highly preferred. Visa Sponsorship available for the right candidate.

On a day-to-day basis, the project manager will work in partnership with the project team to manage the implementation and will be accountable for successful project delivery. The project manager will be in touch with all stakeholders: client / Partner / IT…

Main project activities include the following:

Project planning and tracking scope and related costs using appropriate tools and level of detail needed by the project
Project communication and day-to-day management of the project
Management of the overall project schedule and deliverables
Coordination of team resources and assignments to guarantee project milestones are met
Manage change requests, the impact on the implementation timeline, and the impact on the project costs, and review with relevant parties to check understanding
Manage project risks, scope, issues and escalations
Prepare and present status reports and attend regular status calls with the client and partners as appropriate
Prepare steering committee

Skills and Experience

A strong understanding of the supply chain and business impact. This will help steer the implementation best practices
Process optimization and enterprise level software implementation experience
Experience of and certification in project management is requested. PMI, PRINCE2 certification, or at least 5 years proven project management experience in the software transformation landscape (procurement software is an advantage)
Experience of leading multi-threaded and complex implementations
Experience in working in a multi-cultural environment
