Strategic Duties • Participating with the CEO in setting short- and long-term business strategies for achieving the company’s objectives. • Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking, and other channels as well as conducting research to identify new markets and customer needs • Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships • Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers • Identifying improvement opportunities, to enable the Company to be proactive in the constantly changing environment. • Setting budget for the Department in coordination with the Finance Department at the company to be submitted to the CEO for review and approval. • Controlling the Department’s financial performance and keeping it within the set budget. • Setting, cascading and communicating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for monitoring the performance of sections and units under supervision. Technical Duties • Participating in implementing and transforming policies, goals, and plans into medium and short-term plans to ensure internal work development and productivity increase • Participating in developing benchmarking: i.e. process of measuring products, services, and business practices against those companies organized as industry leaders. • Developing new business opportunities, business alliances, and partnerships to increase Company’s revenue, profits, and market share. • Analyzing and reviewing business opportunities inclusive of SWOT, PEST …etc. and providing recommendations accordingly • Evaluating the results of benchmarking and marketing intelligence to seek opportunities for increasing the market share and developing new markets • Searching for new opportunities to expand and improve the investment insight of precise indicators and studies • Developing and maintaining proactive relationships with clients and prospective customers • Identifying strategic alternatives and studying them taking into consideration the Company’s internal and external circumstances to determine the potential to penetrate new markets • Participating in developing benchmarking: i.e., the process of measuring products, services, and business practices against those companies organized as industry leader

Conduct periodic meetings with subordinates for reviewing progress and workflow, discussing their suggestions, and taking suitable actions accordingly. • Preparing periodic reports concerning the activities and achievements to be submitted to the direct supervisor for review. • Specifying manpower requirements according to the recruitment and selection system and as per the human resources planning practices at the company. • Identifying the training needs of subordinates and evaluating the outcomes of the training courses in coordination with the concerned personnel in the Human Resources Section • Following up on employee affairs including vacations, leaves …etc • Conducting performance appraisals for subordinates according to scheduled plans and recommending necessary actions as per the applied practices at the company • Performing any other duties related to his/her job as assigned by the GM
