Press Xpress is looking for an experienced and ambitious International Correspondence to join the team. The successful incumbent will be responsible for reporting and covering news and events that are happening in the country where he/she will be posted. Your role involves gathering information, researching, and reporting on various topics, such as politics, economics, culture, human rights, conflicts, and other global issues.

You may work for print, and online media, including magazines, news websites, and social media pages.

Employment Type: Part-time/Assignment based/Permanent

Nationality Preference: Native (Must)

Duties & Responsibilities:

1. Writing Analytical News Articles: You will be responsible for writing news articles or producing news segments for our website or social media pages. This may involve crafting compelling, accurate, and engaging stories that are suitable for the target audience and adhering to journalistic standards and ethics.

2. Reporting on major issues/incidents: You will be responsible for researching and reporting on major issues or incidents in the country where you will be posted. This may involve conducting interviews with sources, investigating facts, gathering data, and verifying information to provide accurate and timely news coverage.

3. Participating in online Workshops, talk shows, etc.: You will participate in online workshops, talk shows, panel discussions, or other media events to provide expert opinions, analysis, and insights on current news topics or issues. You may participate as a guest or host in webinars or podcasts to share your knowledge, experiences, and insights with the audience.

4. Diplomatic Correspondence: You will be responsible for attending and covering news events related to your beat, such as press conferences, briefings, rallies, speeches, and other relevant events. You will need to gather information, take notes, and report on the news accurately and in a timely manner. You may also participate in social media engagements, such as live streams, Twitter chats, Facebook Live sessions, or Instagram takeovers, to engage with audiences, answer questions, and provide updates on news stories or events.

Educational Qualification Requirements:

Bachelor's/Master’s Degree in Journalism/Mass Communication/Media Studies
Foreign Language Proficiency: As an International Journalist, proficiency in one or more foreign languages (Other than English) can be highly beneficial

Experience Requirements:
