SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS:
To independently manage and grow the business, support strategic new business initiatives, identify potential new opportunities, meet growth targets; take ownership of budgeting; business forecasting, financial management, plan, formulate, and execute the sales and marketing plan; lead a multicultural team of professionals.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and manage the company's vehicle lease operation starting in Abu Dhabi and duplicating and managing the same effort in another branch. This includes location-appropriate premises, advertising, marketing, performing market studies, personnel requisition of the required team;
- Develop the team, processes, and procedures to run the established department;
- Set and meet the sales goals beginning with the existing fleet and continue to grow the operation in all locations;
- Enhance current maintenance and sales processes and procedures for existing vehicles running under existing contracts;
- Exercise stringent control of expenses without adversely affecting business performance;
- Formally review debtors weekly and maintain the effectiveness of cash collection procedures;
- Develops marketing materials and procedures to promote the company;
- Ensure customer satisfaction and maintains customer retention strategies;
- Ensure that the after-sales is customer focused and has a revenue generation plan;
- Seek new ways to increase and develop business opportunities as well as add new and additional revenue-generating services;
- Complete and submit regular reports on the commercial lease operations; and
- Reduce overall costs such as but not limited to-maintenance and insurance;
- Develop the processes and certifications needed to qualify the company to bid governmental requirements;
- Provides leadership and motivation to staff within the company;
- Review current staff and staffing requirements to optimize efficiency and reduce overheads;
- Manage all vehicles utilized by staff within the sister companies;
- Performs other related duties as may be required by immediate superior.

Excellent communication and leadership skills. Exceptional customer-facing and interpersonal skills to enable difficult situations to be overcome; Practical skills, experience, and knowledge of modern car rental industry processes and practices; An ability to negotiate effectively and with excellent numeracy, computer, and literacy skills; Up-to-date knowledge of UAE vehicle legislation, consumer legislation, and trade practices.
