We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Head Chef to lead our Italian cuisine kitchen team. As Head Chef, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of kitchen operations, creating and updating menus, and ensuring consistent quality of food and service. You will have the opportunity to showcase your passion for Italian cuisine using fresh, locally sourced ingredients and creating unique dishes that excite and delight our guests.
Responsibilities:
– Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
– Create and update menus that reflect the Italian cuisine style, incorporating seasonal ingredients and new culinary trends.
– Train and mentor kitchen staff, including sous chefs, line cooks, and prep cooks.
– Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.
– Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth and efficient service.
– Maintain inventory of food and supplies, and work with vendors to place orders as needed.
