Main Purpose of the Job:
To ensure that Autohaus contributes to customer satisfaction by providing optimal customer care and high quality of service work. Promote our Service Centre benefits, capabilities and strengths to potential customers. Determine customer needs and communicating it to Service Team in order to fix it and right the first time and ensure vehicle delivery timeline.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
· Report directly to Service Manager.
· Service Advisor should be available in Reception Area at any given time.
· Welcome the customer in a professional and appropriate manner.
· Receives customer vehicles, understands, clarify customer needs.
· Ensure proper explanation of the content of work in detail
· Carry out pre-acceptance inspection (damage on the body, check valuables left in car, etc.) record results on check sheet, confirm them with customer and get customer signature.
· Inform customers of any defects, scratches, dents, etc. by providing photos and/or videos via email showing the defects.
· Check vehicle servicing history.
· Fill in customer and vehicles information in DMS database.
· Prepare Job Card ensure it is line with Customer Complaints written on Check in Sheet Report
· Writes a brief description of the customer’s concern on the Job Card to help the technician locate the problem.
· Assign tag number and provide seat cover, steering cover and floor mat, etc.
· Responsible in monitoring closely the results of time control sheet
· Prepare Repair Estimate and obtain customer approval.
· Ensures that customers vehicle are fixed right 1st time by implementing the quality procedures.
· Communicate frequently with Workshop Foreman and Technicians to ensure timely completion of work.
· Update customer regularly on the progress and ensure delivery of the vehicle at the promised time.
· Contact customer regarding any change in the estimate, explain cost and time requirements in detail.
· Raise Warranty approvals
· Get proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
· Review repair orders to ensure that work is completed and additional work noted.
· Perform Quality test as per list. Inform customer once vehicle is ready for delivery/collection.
· Prepare Proforma Invoice and explain billing details. Processes payments.
· Any other relevant duties as and when required by the Management.
